Camel Artists’ Acrylic colours can be used directly from the tube or mixed with acrylic medium or with water. Acrylic colours are soft and creamy in texture and are a golden mean of oil colours and watercolours. They adhere to a great variety of surfaces like canvas, wood and earthenware. This pack includes 12 tubes of acrylic colours along with gel medium and acrylic retarder medium. Each of the tubes is 40 ml in size.
Retarder medium is used to slow the drying time of acrylic colours, thereby allowing better mixing options for smooth blending effects of colours. Gel medium helps to thicken the acrylic colours thereby retaining brush strokes. Adding gel medium is a way to increase the paint's transparency without compromising its consistency and adhesive properties.
The colour shades included in this pack are lemon yellow, permanent yellow deep, scarlet lake, crimson lake, cobalt blue hue, Prussian blue, sap green, viridian hue, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, black and titanium white.
